About me

My life focus changed upon an awakening experience when I was 18. Love poured in from everywhere, overwhelming my logical mind, and expanding my possibilities. I was in college at the time, and began to look for a way to recreate this experience, and to have it remain.

I found a book in the college book store “And The Flowers Showered” by Bhagwan Rajneesh. This started a multi decade relationship that led me through many therapy groups and meditation processes. Much space was created within me, but the profound opening remained elusive.

I spent 4 years with Adyashanti in a zen-flavored path. Still the profound remained elusive.

In 2018, my younger brother was diagnosed with untreatable cancer, my father had a stroke, and my mother’s Parkinson’s disease was progressing rapidly. My life became that of the caretaker. I was reading “Autobiography of a Yogi,” as a sort of touchstone of sanity, and became aware of the Kriya Yoga path during that time. Finally, the practice of Kriya Yoga has allowed me to taste that which I knew from before.

The techniques taught here are a distillation of those techniques, as taught to me by my teacher, Forrest Knutson. He has a book for purchase on Amazon “Mastering Meditation.” He also has extensive videos on youtube under his name.
